And she did: although unfortunately some were listening with ‘wrong ears.’  A fascinating story, not 100% accurate to ‘true life,’ but nevertheless true enough, and a story of passion and love of musical art.  Regardless of judgement, FFJ did sing as her passion drove her to, and as the movie character says, “They may have said that I couldn’t sing, but they couldn’t say that I didn’t sing.”

So, be brave, and just sing, whatever that may mean for you!

An interesting watch available on SBS World Movie Channel “Florence Foster Jenkins.”  Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant fans will enjoy this 2016 film, as these 2 veteran actors employ their rich talents.  Visually beautiful, engaging characters large and small.  Good writing and direction IMHO.
