I posted this to Facebook today, just so angry and disappointed that this sort of stuff is cropping up in our regional community. I did not share the flier photos on Social Media, as I did not want the visuals to hijack the story – if you want to see them you have to read this post.
This is my initial social media response – and I rarely use caps to emphasize, but it was important here!

“OK, CROSS NOW! How is this SHONKY NATIONAL PARTY DIRTY TRICKS STRATEGY good for Mildura, M. Harris of National Party of Australia – (to paraphrase THIS PIECE OF CR**P found in my letterbox today)?
This JUNK MAIL has a code leading to a website that is NOT Ali Cupper’s site (does disclaim it), but some lowdown NPA rep has gone to the trouble of purchasing a domain name using Ali Cupper’s name, and setting up a website to deliberately spread DISINFORMATION about Ali Cupper.
DO NOT BE MISLED – Anne Webster, do you know about this? Is this the kind of party you want to represent? I truly hope not!! And NPA members, is this how you want your party to spend your party $$$ – spreading dirt and launching you into the slippery slope of Trump style politics??
AUSTRALIANS WILL NOT BE SUCKED IN BY THIS!!! I certainly will NEVER vote for anyone who relies on this kind of strategy!
BTW – the flier and the website do reveal the authorisation of the message, in the TINIEST OF FONTS WITH AS LITTLE CONTRAST between text and background as possible – I had to use my phone to magnify it!!
I am now off to share this on as MANY PLACES as possible, just to show that MILDURA people are NOT fools!!! I encourage you to do the same!“

I have shared this in as many places as I can, including our local NPA Federal member, Anne Webster and other NPA websites including the NPA leader, Michael McCormack; and have written this post in my blog so that you can see the flier I refer to. I refuse to share it on Social Media, for fear that people will share the images or the website without looking at and questioning the source. The images can be viewed with in this post, and hopefully this way, people will read, think, and evaluate, before passing it on.
