Brother Alan, fourth of five children, married for the second time at the Lutheran church in Mildura, on the 21st of August, 2015.
The church is not ornate, but cleancut and functional without being harsh, which is quite amenable, and probably in keeping with our family heritage on the German and Prussian side.

The weather luck was good, and the day was warm, still, and glorious, in the low 20’s temperature wise.  The original wedding car, a 60’s Cadillac convertible had a fiery incident, and was not able to show, but fortunately a handsome fill-in was available in the form of a 60’s mushroom pink Cadillac sedan, so the bride and her matron of honour still arrived in style!

The bride was fashionably, but not too late, which gave the guests a chance to meet and socialise, and in my case, try to work out the photographic possibilities of my new phone…
